1 Privacy Policy

Phil Hopkinson T/A Malvern Coppicing is the sole owner of this website. Any details you give us are processed in accordance with the data protection act 1998.
we do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties.


2 Accessing the Site (the Site) is operated by Phil Hopkinson (we and us).

Use of the Site is on the terms contained in this document (Terms of Use). If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, stop using the Site immediately. By accessing and using this Site you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by these Terms of Use. They are a legal agreement between you and us and can only be amended with our consent. They should be read in conjunction with any details provided on the Site about how the Site operates and the services which are available.

The supply of any products or services you order from this Site is subject to our Trading Terms. You should also read our Privacy Policy.

We will not sell knives to anyone under the age of 17. We may require proof of age.

We reserve the right to change these Terms of Use from time to time without prior notice by changing them on the Site.

2.1 We cannot guarantee that the Site will operate continuously or without interruptions or be error-free. 6.2 If you are a consumer and not a business user, we shall not be liable to you for any business losses and shall only be liable for any losses which are reasonably foreseeable.

6.3 If you are a business user, in no event shall we be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue or goodwill arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or information on the Site. Except as provided in these Terms of Use, all terms implied by law are excluded.

Pricing: Malvern Coppicing’s products are priced in pounds sterling, prices include VAT at 20%, books are VAT exempt, when you buy gift vouchers you do not pay VAT on that transaction but when vouchers are redeemed the VAT will be included.
Refund / Cancelation Policy
Ordering: All orders can be placed online through this website. Please do not e-mail your card details; we cannot be responsible for the security of your details if given this way.
All goods are subject to availability.

If any errors are found with the prices on the website after you have placed an order Malvern Coppicing will notify you of this and give you the option of re-submitting or cancelling the order.

Payment methods: You can pay with most major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, VisaElectron and Maestro. If you want to pay by cheque or postal order please ring or e-mail to arrange, we may wait for a cheque to clear before dispatching goods.
Malvern Coppicing can take no responsibility for incorrect or incomplete details submitted on the website. Orders submitted without complete information cannot be processed. Card fraud is illegal and perpetrators will be prosecuted.

Out of stock: If you have chosen an out of stock item you will be contacted via your e-mail address and given an estimation of delivery times. If you have ordered several items and we are able to dispatch only part of the order we will e-mail you to inform you of the position
9 Delivery
We aim to dispatch all orders in 2 working days - Our standard delivery schedule - this allows for picking, packing and processing of your order. Your items will be dispatched using a first class Royal Mail** or courier delivery.
We undertake to keep you informed of variations to the stated delivery times.

*Delivery to Scottish Highlands and Islands postcodes attract an additional £8.50 surcharge.

The delivery schedule above does not apply to the following geographical areas;

- Isle of Man
- Northern Ireland
- Jersey
- Guernsey

**Subject to Royal Mail weight and size restrictions.

We dispatch to the UK and some European countries. For European delivery please contact us.

Deliveries to Europe will incur higher charges depending on the weight and value of the items ordered.

Some deliveries require a signature.

All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time. In the event of any goods being damaged in transit, short shipments or failing to match the items as described, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. Should we receive no such notification, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. Malvern Coppicing cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by our appointed carrier(s).
Returns and refunds

Cancellation Policy: We aim to meet The Distance Selling Regulations and subject to the provisions of our returns policy above, every customer has the right to cancel their order within 7 days of receiving the goods.

Complaints: We aim to deal with all complaints as quickly and as efficiently as possible. In the first instance you complaint should be e-mailed to or telephone 01684 574865 between 9am and 5pm.

Notification of cancellation must be in writing, a telephone call is not a valid cancellation.

1.3 No right of cancellation, refund or return exists under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 once you have used your product, unless the product is defective and you are returning it for this reason.

1.4 Goods that are sealed or shrink-wrapped and this is removed can only be returned if they are defective.

1.6 Please observe the following procedure for all returns to us:

1.6.1 On the back of your invoice or on another piece of paper, (if you no longer have your invoice), include your order number and the reason for the return.

1.6.2 If you are returning your product because it is defective, please state the defect or defects.

1.6.3 Repackage the product in its original packaging, including any accessories, brochures, manuals, guarantees or warranties that came with the product. Unfortunately we will be unable to issue a refund where the product is in an incomplete state.

1.7 If the original packaging surrounding the product has been damaged or destroyed we will only issue a refund if the product is being returned due to a defect. If the original packaging of a defective product has been damaged or destroyed you should ensure that the returned product is adequately packed for shipment back to us.

1.8 You are responsible for paying any postage or shipping costs incurred when returning the product.

1.9 We recommend that all returns be sent by registered post, so that a record of the return is available for you.

1.10 We will not issue refunds for any items lost or stolen in transit to us.

1.11 Where a return is lost or stolen in transit to us, you should claim compensation from the company that shipped the return.

1.12 If you fail to return a product to us, we may make arrangements to have the product collected from you. The cost of this collection will be passed on to you.

1.14 Subject to the above, we will refund the purchase price of a returned product within thirty days of receiving written notification of your intention to return the product.

1.15 We will also refund the cost of standard or recorded postage incurred returning a product, if incorrectly sent by us or where the product has been returned due to a defect. Please note that we will not refund any courier, overnight or express element of any delivery or postage charge, including Royal Mail Special Delivery.
